Reviews
I visited Le Vizir a few years back with my husband and 2 children. I didn’t get round to leaving a review.
Thing may have changed, but never got around to leaving a review!
Firstly, customer service was amazing, we were welcomed at reception and our luggage was taken to our room/appart.
The breakfast buffet was varied, with many options.
The vibes at breakfast was memorable, friendly staff with traditional moroccan food and other options.
The children had a lot of space to run around and enjoy at the resort.
The hammam was one of the best i’ve been to. Professional and friendly.
I didn’t rate it 5 stars because, there was 1 negative. On arrival we saw some mice droppings in one of the kitchen cupboards, however, it was cleaned immediately and the manager was professional. We did not see anymore during our stay, neither any Mice
Overall, a comfortable stay and what i expected from a 4 star hotel!
I would visit again, however our trips tend to be last minute so never find availability for our chosen dates!
We had read reviews and they were not good. However we decided to go. On arrival at reception we waited whilst people in front of us complained. It was awful. I actually felt sorry for the staff.|Most complaints we heard were about the …
I enjoyed it overall as it was my first holiday and nice to have a getaway. The grounds are generally pleasant, palm trees etc everywhere. We stayed in a solarium suite which was out of the way, a view of the car park and barren area, no greenery in that patch of land let it down.
I enjoyed the pools. They have an adult pool, a children's pool (that runs quite deep in some parts so keep little children in shallow sections and go in with them),a women's only pool in a secluded area behind the children's pool.. it has a jacuzzi.
I enjoyed breakfast. Wide selection Inc savoury, pastries, cereals, fruit and hot drinks machine. Some people got fed up that breakfast was the same spread everyday though.
Staff were very nice, some made an effort to be friendly and remember our names..sayeid was very lovely. They have aqua gym, archery, ping pong and other activities held at certain times. At night there is a kids disco by the pool and sometimes traditional entertainment.
There were a few scattered groups from the UK but the majority of clients are French speaking Moroccan. We never felt unwelcome but if you want to meet others you might want to know.
Be aware / let downs:
- the restaurant is very expensive and dinner is not very good
- the resort is far from the city so you can't shop or go exploring without a taxi, which you'll pay for.
- they don't give you anything, even water. The nearest supermarket needs to be driven to. You let them know at reception you require a taxi. Moroccan water from the tap may not be something you wish to drink.
- they don't clean your rooms. Floors are not swept, bedding is not changed (beds are made and clean towels provided).. the mess on the floor accumulates
- air con is very weak
- WiFi is very weak except by the kid's pool
- unless you speak French or Arabic there can sometimes be a communication struggle as many staff have no English.. we got by and it wasn't a major issue
- we had no phone to call reception/ room service.. had to walk quite a way everytime
- old furniture, stained, disintergrating
- one of the rooms we were in had no main light, only lamp light
- many things are not consistently maintained e.g. sometimes they run the fountains.. which are all over the grounds, but these are dry most of the time
- the spa is closed since covid
- unless you book activities outside the resort you might get bored
rooms> full of hair, on the toilet, shower drain was clogged with hair 🤮 on our pillow there was a snot bubble. the pool was dirty. pictures speak carefully. Also NO staff at all. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay. restaurant was closed, for food we had to leave by car because there was nothing around. The breakfast was a big subpar. i have never been so negative about a hotel. unfortunately! we'll never come back.

The staff is really nice and the resort is beautiful. They have many activities like rock climbing, ping pong, badminton, tennis and other really fun things to do. The rooms are amazing and relaxing. Not to forget, there is something always …
We went as a family in December 2019, we were little unhappy as the women's pool was advertised as being opened, it was not. I mainly booked this hotel because my mum wanted a private women's pool. Pools were not heated either. Breakfast was great and at a good standard however I cannot say the same for the dinner. Shuttle buses were very limited for the hotel size. Photos were not as accurate and cleanliness was not up to scratch but the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great outdoor spaces for children and good hotel for families.
A friend and I took our sons to swim at this pool yesterday. There was no lifeguard, which should have been a major red flag, but we kept an eye on our boys and swam with them. There are some big constructions in the pool and so you can't …
